Ference to Attend Sled Hockey Clinic
/ News
The Sled Hockey Clinic is part of the NHL’s “Hockey is for Everyone” initiative. Throughout the month of February, Hockey is for Everyone provides support and unique programming to non-profit youth hockey organizations across North America that are committed to offering children of all backgrounds opportunities to play hockey
Each of the children will participate in a 45-minute ice hockey clinic, led by members of the U.S. National Sled Hockey team, followed by a 45-minute hockey game. Following the game, the skaters will participate in a raffle for Bruins autographed memorabilia.
The participating children are currently enrolled in programs, such as Unified Sports Programs and World T.E.A.M Sports. These organizations are dedicated to creating opportunities through sports for both disabled individuals and their allies.
