Kobe’s Top Ten Plays on Christmas Day

    1. watching football, college and NFL.
    2. discovering TV shows i never knew existed because i spent the last few years watching too much NBA on ESPN.
    3. living life as usual because it doesn’t revolve around the NBA.
    4. and most of all, enjoying the silence since the fake fans have nothing to trash talk about.

Kobe dropped 39 points tonight with a torn ligament in his wrist on his shooting hand. He has 30+ in each of the last three games. He’s 33 years old, he has been in the league for 16 seasons. Let’s see if Lebron is doing that at the same point in his career. I doubt it. Kobe is damn near burnt out physically and he’s STILL balling harder than dudes are in their primes. No disrespect to King James. He’s a phenomenal player, no doubt. But Kobe Bryant is a man possessed. Basketball legend.

@babyboy5880 The deal for Chris Paul is what really fucked them over. They valued Lamar for half of Chris Paul, the other half being Pau Gasol who was aimed to be traded again for three players and a second round draft pick. This left Lamar as being worthless to the Lakers and he needed to go. In the end of the day they didn’t get Paul, kept Gasol, and lost a good 6th man, the bitch about is instead of getting him more help, they took it away.

  • babyboy5880 wrote on 15 January, 2012, 2:57

@maphitha1 Exactly, and even Kobe admitted that he’s older and he knows he can’t do what he did even a few seasons ago in the height of his prime, so for people to say people are better than Kobe is almost irrelevant. Damn I wish Lakers would have gotten something for Lamar, then Kobe could get some more help.

@harryo00 I thought back to a game I went to in Phoenix, I think it was Opening night for the Suns in 2007, Luke passed it through The Matrix’ legs and right to Kobe for a reverse dunk!
