I don't really care about sports, but this caught my attention.
It appears that the NFL will only allow the broadcasting of some of the last (and therefore biggest) games of the year on the NFL network that very few cable companies carry.

How does the NFL protect someone from tapping into the communication. If it is some type of wireless system how is it secured ? It must be digitally encrypted I would guess.

In the NFL Sunday night game, Bears roughed the punter and the Eagles had an illegal formation. I thought the rule was the 15 yarder overrules the 5 yarder and they do not offset. Why did a major penalty and a minor penalty offset?
